Tafl : Incomprensibile saliscendi del rating di mmagari

In data  Sabato 3 marzo 2018 pubblicavamo la classifica della WTF : World Tafl Federation Rating Top 10 players, March 2018 dove eravamo accreditati di un punteggio di 2004 punti. Successivamente, il 9 Marzo 2018 scopriamo con nostro grande stupore che il nostro rating è stato portato a 1617 punti, senza nessuna ragione comprensibile. Oggi con nostro ancor più grande stupore controllando le partite  in corso vediamo il nostro rating salire a 1792....la classifica sotto riportata, tratta dal sito della WTF documenta uffiicialmente la cosa.

Lo ribadiamo: non possiamo credere che il nostro declassamento da 2004 punti (Sabato 3 marzo)   attestato sul nostro post World Tafl Federation Rating Top 10 players, March 2018 ( 1 )  sia stato deciso in seno della  WTF i dirigenti della quale si sono dimostrati con noi fin dai nostri primi passi nel mondo dei giochi Tafl srmpre molto cortesi e attenti, dei veri gentlemen's.  Lo ripetiamo ancora una volta: abbiamo sempre  rispettato il regolamento della WTF e giocato lealmente. Crediamo che ciò sia sufficiente a giustificare la nostra richiesta di veder riconfermato il nostro reale punteggio (2004 punti) ottenuto dopo tante battaglie combattute lealmente sul sito  http://aagenielsen.dk/ Disgraziatamente continuiamo a pensare che tali "variazioni" di punteggio a saliscendi sia da imputarsi ad un andamento anomalo del programma informatico che gestisce i dati statistici della WTF 

Pensiamo di conseguenza che sia assolutamente necessario un intervento umano per rimettere le cose a posto...

Le go dans les astrologies et philosophies chinoises

Dans la culture de la Chine ancienne, le monde est un univers clos, que l’on peut subdiviser en 9 provinces, soit un centre et 8 directions appelées vents. Cet univers, est symbolisé par un carré « magique » qui est la base de l’astrologie divinatoire, et qui permet de situer et numériser les cycles du temps. Ses composantes sont au nombre de 360, chiffre parfait qui représente le nombre de jours du calendrier rituel (à mi chemin entre calendrier lunaire et calendrier solaire). Ce chiffre de 360 est évidemment à rapprocher de 361, nombre d’intersections d’un goban, et aussi total des pierres blanches et noires utilisables. Un goban peut en effet être décrit comme un centre, origine du monde, entouré de 360 autres intersections. Le carré de base, représentant la Terre, se décompose alors en 9 carrés élémentaires, ayant pour centre les 9 points (ou étoiles) marqués sur le goban. Notons que les dénominations utilisées en chinois et en japonais reflètent toujours cette vision du monde : le terme japonais hoshi signifiant bien « étoile » (en chinois xīng wèi, 星位), et tengen, le centre du goban, pouvant se traduire par « centre de l’univers céleste » (en chinois tiān yuán, 天元).

En ce qui concerne les pierres noires et blanches, celles-ci peuvent représenter le Yin (阴) et le Yang (阳) : le jeu de l’ombre et de la lumière, du pair et de l’impair, du négatif et du positif. Avec ces seuls concepts de Yin et de Yang, la philosophie du Yi King (yì jīng, 易经) explique l’énergie contenue dans tous les éléments, ainsi que leur positionnement dans l’univers ; l’être humain étant supposé être à l’image de cet univers.



La notion de Tao (dào, 道), plus subtile, apparaît comme étant une combinaison simultanée du Yin et du Yang (signalons qu’en Chine, les lignes du goban sont dénommées dào). Le Tao, c’est la voie, le chemin qu’il faut découvrir pour acquérir la sagesse et l’éternité ; cette recherche imposant de faire le vide en soi, et de se contrôler, afin d’atteindre le non-être. On voit tout de suite que le jeu de go, dont l’objectif est de contrôler des territoires, c’est à dire des espaces vides, s’inscrit tout à fait dans cette mouvance philosophique. Par ailleurs, jouer au go nécessite de maîtriser ses émotions, canaliser son agressivité, et de trouver un équilibre permanent entre attaque et défense… c’est à dire, de progresser vers la voie du Tao !
  
Enfin, en illustration, citons l’historien chinois Pan Ku, qui parla ainsi du jeu de go,
au 1er siècle :

" La planche de jeu doit être carrée, elle représente la Terre, et les angles droits signifient honnêteté et droiture. Les pierres sont jaunes et noires : cette distinction signifie le Yin et le Yang. Les groupes dispersés sur le jeu représentent les corps célestes… Les joueurs respectent ce que les règles permettent : c’est la rigueur du Tao. "

"Praggnanandhaa is a great talent has a bright future in chess" - Sergey Karjakin

For many months now we have been talking about 12-year-old Praggnanandhaa breaking Karjakin's record of becoming the youngest GM in the world at the age of 12 years and 7 months. With just 7 days to go, it is clear that Pragg can no longer break the record as he has to make two more GM norms. We ask Karjakin about Praggnanandhaa and also the world record. His views on our young prodigy were important because Karjakin had played Pragg just a few hours ago at the Aeroflot Blitz 2018 where he beat him 1.5-0.5, but was in grave danger in one of the games.
